Radiological Mapping and Clearance of Material on TSL

• We have about 8 tons of cable on TSL that needs to be checked.  5 tons are already cut down, about 3 tons are left in the plant. 60% of the cables are copper cable, 20% aluminium cable and 20% mixed cable (Cu, Al, Fe...) 
• We will probably be able to declassify more than 90% of the cable through nuclide-specific measurements on a larger number of samples.  
• Radionuclides that we are looking for are 60Co in copper cable and mixed cable, and 22Na in aluminum cable. One challenge is to determine 3H in cable plastic.
