Here is a link to a document with technical details of the Gustaf Werner Cyclotron at TSL. (Here is a local copy in pdf-format).

TSL

The Svedberg Laboratory (TSL) is a national research facility located in Uppsala, Sweden and hosted by Uppsala University. The aim of the laboratory is to provide accelerated ion beams to a national (and international) community of researchers in physics, biology and medicine, and for applications in various fields. The accelerator of the laboratory is the Gustaf Werner cyclotron. The laboratory facilities and the experimental areas are described on the pages related to links in the left column. Some of the more important research projects are also introduced in respective area.

To get an overview of the institute, study the drawing on the OverView page, from where it is possible to proceed to obtain information about various areas and facilities of the laboratory.

Location of TSL

tsl building

The TSL is located close to the center of Uppsala and therefore easy to reach for visitors; a 15 min walk from the railway station or from the airport bus stop (view the map as jpg or pdf). Uppsala is about 35 km from the Stockholm international airport (Arlanda), which has daily services from most major cities in Europe and from overseas. During daytime there are frequent bus connections from Arlanda to Uppsala (at least twice every hour). The laboratory can accomodate several guest users simultaneously in downtown appartments rented for the purpose.
